Prince Eke, the Nigerian actor, has openly criticized supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) following their insults directed at him for voicing his dissent against the government.

In a post shared on his Instagram account on March 5, Eke addressed those who have berated him through direct messages for his negative opinions regarding the APC's governance.

He referred to APC supporters as ‘smart by half’ and labeled them as foolish, asserting that they are a disgrace to the nation. According to him, the ruling party has wreaked havoc on the lives of Nigerians, leaving many in dire straits.

In a video he shared, Eke declared, "No supporter of a poor government can claim not to look foolish. This is a regime where politicians can openly engage in sexual harassment without facing repercussions. It's a disgrace!"

Additionally, he elaborated further in his post, stating, "Many of us would not be scattered across the globe today if our nation had been administered with integrity and foresight. People are compelled to leave their homes and families in search of basic dignity, safety, and opportunity. Meanwhile, a select few continue to dominate the narrative as if the country is theirs alone."

He expressed concern about those who willingly accept meager compensation and defend a system that confines the majority.

Eke pointed out, "The reality is that for many of us fortunate enough to leave and forge a new life abroad, this privilege remains out of reach for countless Nigerians, who are left to endure the repercussions of decades of failed governance."

He concluded with a rallying cry for change: "Enough is enough. A nation cannot thrive indefinitely on silence, alibis, and empty promises. It is time for the citizens to reclaim their country—not for vengeance, but for the sake of responsibility and genuine transformation. For the future generations, Nigeria must once again be owned by its people."
