The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC‑PCC) has publicly accused [President Bola Tinubu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bola_Tinubu) of treating Nigerians as a joke and warned that he should not pursue a second term if he is unwilling to travel across the country to meet voters, a statement delivered while meeting a youth delegation from Young Voters for Atiku.
Ologbondiyan said Tinubu's actions amount to a clear contempt for the Nigerian people, insisting that any president seeking re‑election must visit voters and justify his record.
He dismissed the argument that official duties could keep the president from campaigning, pointing to former leaders Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari, all of whom ran for a second term while in office.
The council also blamed the Tinubu administration for widespread anger stemming from hunger, poverty, insecurity and economic hardship, noting that the average Nigerian struggles to afford food and feel safe.
[ADC‑PCC](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Democratic_Congress) urged young Nigerians to reject the [All Progressives Congress](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Progressives_Congress_(Nigeria)) in the 2027 elections, warning that another term for the ruling party would deepen the nation’s difficulties.
He affirmed that ADC presidential candidate [Atiku Abubakar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atiku_Abubakar) is prepared to tour all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, promising subsidies on petroleum products, wealth creation, enhanced security and a revived economy.
