Child Left Alone After Father Killed and Mother Abducted by Bandits During Family Trip

A young boy has found himself stranded in the aftermath of a brutal bandit ambush while traveling with his family.

Reports from DanKatsina, a journalist focused on security matters in Northwest Nigeria, indicate that the child was left by himself following the violent incident that occurred in Niger State.

According to DanKatsina, the family was trying to get from Bangi to Mangoro within the Mariga Local Government Area when they were attacked, resulting in the tragic death of the boy's father and the abduction of his mother.

Currently, the boy is in Mangoro, hoping that family members will recognize him from photographs circulating on the internet and will come to his aid.
