Ahmad Abubakar Zakka, a resident of Millennium City in [Kaduna State](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaduna_State), says he, his wife and their six‑month‑old daughter were seized from their Alrahus Estate home during an overnight raid, and he is pleading for assistance as his right hand swells from being tightly bound.
A video posted on social media shows Zakka confirming the identities of his family members and stating that the abductors are demanding a ransom of ₦300 million for their release. In the footage he describes his right hand as severely swollen and numb because of the restrictive way he was tied up, warning that without urgent medical care the injury could become permanent.
"Please, I’m seeking help from my relatives and friends because of how tightly they tied my hand. See how my hand has become. Please help me, I don’t want my hand to be cut off," he says in the recording.
**What is the ransom demand?**
The kidnappers have set a price of three hundred million naira, which Zakka says must be paid to secure the safe return of his wife and daughter.
