Kartel Energy Limited, a Nigerian firm specializing in original equipment manufacturing, has unveiled two significant product offerings: the Ensky Solar range and the GenixGreen & Luxwatt Lithium Battery Series.
These new products were officially launched in Lagos during the Powerelec Nigeria Exhibition 2026. This event marks a critical step for the company as it pursues its objective of delivering sustainable energy solutions specifically designed to meet Nigeria's energy demands.
According to Mr. Ola Ogunsemowo, the Chief Executive Officer of Kartel Energy, the Ensky Solar series features high-quality, cost-effective, and durable solar street lights. These lights are equipped with advanced functionalities, including motion sensors, integrated solar panels, and high-brightness LED bulbs.
Ogunsemowo highlighted the impressive specifications of these street lights, noting their 48-hour battery backup, IP65 weather resistance rating, and a brightness output of 6,500 lumens. He also mentioned that pricing starts competitively and comes with warranties extending from two to three years.
He further explained that GenixGreen and Luxxwatt are Kartel Energy's specialized brands in power technology. Together, they aim to cater to advanced battery and energy storage requirements across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors within Nigeria.
While both brands utilize high-performance lithium battery technology, they are strategically positioned to serve distinct power needs and applications across the country.
Ogunsemowo elaborated that the GenixGreen brand focuses on high-voltage battery systems, capable of operating up to 768v. These systems are engineered for commercial and industrial applications, such as factories, industrial sites, large estates, institutions, and significant development projects where substantial power capacity, expandability, and sophisticated power management are essential.
He added that GenixGreen systems are developed to handle significant energy loads, thereby substantially reducing the dependency on diesel generators.
In contrast, Luxxwatt concentrates on low-voltage lithium systems. These are designed for a variety of smaller-scale applications, including homes, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), retail businesses, clinics, schools, and other mid-sized institutions.
Kartel Energy stated that it has already supplied power solutions to over 150,000 homes and businesses. The company intends to broaden its market presence through strategic alliances and the establishment of the Kartel Energy Academy.
