Jemilat Ahmed, a Nigerian woman, recently recounted a personal experience of a significant sacrifice she made for love a few years ago.

She revealed that she saved diligently to purchase an iPhone on an installment plan, which she then gifted to her boyfriend. However, just a few months later, his other partner used the same phone to block her on his social media accounts, warning her to keep her distance.

In her own words, she expressed her feelings of foolishness for going to such lengths. "If you ever felt silly, know that I did multiple side hustles and saved up to buy an iPhone in installments for a guy because his phone had broken."

After giving him the phone, she frequently asked him to lend it to her so she could take photos and access Facebook, as she was using a smaller itel device at the time.

Later on, the situation took a turn when his other partner used that very same phone to block her on all his social platforms. When she sought clarification by calling him, it was his new girlfriend who answered, advising her to stay away.
