The head of state touched down in the capital on Monday night, having come from Lagos where he had been after completing his work‑related trips to the United Kingdom and France.
According to Premium Times, the president departed Nigeria on 30 August for an initially planned three‑week leave that was subsequently prolonged. He later re‑entered Nigeria via Lagos on the preceding Tuesday and remained there until his Monday journey back to Abuja.
