Nigerian singer [Bobby Maris Ugwoegbu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Maris_Ugwoegbu) recently used his Instagram Stories to discuss the impact of falling in love, speaking shortly after his marriage to actress [Uche Ogbodo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uche_Ogbodo) was dissolved earlier this year. He explained that love can make a person lose sense of reality until a sudden “reality check” forces them to admit they have been fooled.
He wrote: “I think there is something in falling in love, you actually lose your senses until boom! Reality checks in, and you realize Kai I be Mugu ooo!” The phrase “Mugu” is a Nigerian slang term meaning “fool” or “dupe”.
