Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has controversially stated that the club is "not a big club," even with its state-of-the-art stadium and training grounds. This assertion comes in the wake of the recent dismissal of former head coach Thomas Frank.

Frank, who succeeded Postecoglou in the Spurs managerial role, has struggled to improve the team's performance in the Premier League. Following a 2-1 home loss to Newcastle United on Tuesday, Tottenham now finds itself precariously close to the relegation zone, sitting only five points above it.

"They’ve built an unbelievable stadium, unbelievable training facilities but, when you look at their expenditure and particularly their wages structure, they’re not a big club," Postecoglou remarked, highlighting a disparity between the club's physical assets and its financial standing relative to traditional giants.
