The announcement was made at the Imeko-Afon Local Government Area Stakeholders' Meeting held on Friday, where Adeola outlined his vision for infrastructure development in the area.
According to Adeola, construction work on eight major roads would commence within the next two weeks. These projects are part of a broader commitment, with Adeola noting that more than 30 road construction projects have already been undertaken across the local government area.
The senator also announced that work on a proposed Free Trade Zone in Imeko- Afon is expected to begin in December 2026. He stated that he had already requested land acquisition for the zone and that construction would start immediately upon securing the site.
