**Job Summary**
* Conduct laboratory and field tests on construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Conduct tests on soil, concrete, aggregates, asphalt, and other construction materials.
* Perform field tests, including soil compaction, slump tests, and concrete sampling.
* Collect, prepare, and test material samples in accordance with approved standards.
* Record test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
* Monitor material quality and report non-conformities to the Quality Control Engineer.
* Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.
* Coordinate with site engineers and the QA/QC team to resolve material quality issues.
**Requirements**
* OND, HND, or BSc in Civil Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction materials testing.
* Practical knowledge of soil, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt testing procedures.
* Familiarity with relevant ASTM, BS, or other applicable construction testing standards.
* Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain accurate test records.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
