Telecom Networks Face Over 1,800 Fibre Optic Cable Disruptions in Three Months
Telecommunications operators in Nigeria reported more than 1,883 incidents of fibre optic cable cuts between January and March 2026, leading to service disruptions. However, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) also highlighted progress in network upgrades.
