Bendel Insurance technical adviser Kennedy Boboye has declared confidence in his squad's ability to claim their first away victory of the season as they prepare to face Kwara United in an upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League encounter at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin. The Benin-based club has struggled on the road during the current campaign, failing to secure a single away win so far.
Despite their away struggles, the team traveled to Kwara State in high spirits following a morale-boosting 2-1 triumph over league leaders Rivers United. That victory reinforced a solid home campaign for the club, which also previously halted the long unbeaten run of Barau FC.
What is the team's mindset heading into the fixture?
Addressing the club's media ahead of the match, Boboye emphasized that his players would fight relentlessly for a favorable outcome on enemy territory.
"We will keep pushing. Nothing is impossible. The league is still fresh. We are going to Kwara in our next game, we will see what happens," Boboye stated.
Entering this matchday, Bendel Insurance sits in the ninth position on the NPFL standings, having accumulated 15 points from their opening nine matches of the season.
