A communication from Mr. Zira Zakka Nagga, Head of the Press and Public Relations Unit at the BPP, outlined the main goals of the meetings: facilitating conversations with contractors, consultants, service providers, and civil society organizations regarding the MAPS framework and its advantages for Nigeria's procurement approach; and allowing stakeholders to provide feedback and contributions concerning the formulation of a National Procurement Strategy.

Additionally, the meetings aim to synchronize Nigeria's procurement reform initiatives with the responsibilities of each stakeholder to ensure successful implementation.

Participants at these meetings will include representatives from governmental organizations, private sector entities, professional associations, civil society groups, and development partners engaged in procurement oversight, advocacy, and service delivery.

The events will occur at the Tahir Guest Palace in Kano and the Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
