Comedian Okey Bakassi has provided an update regarding the alleged theft of several mobile phones in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
He shared images obtained from CCTV footage showing an individual believed to be the suspect. While acknowledging that the images are not perfectly clear, Bakassi expressed confidence that the person might still be identifiable to those who know them.
A reward of ₦1 million is being offered to anyone who can provide useful information leading to the suspect's identification or whereabouts.
This development follows an earlier appeal by Bakassi, where he offered ₦5 million for assistance in locating the young man.
According to Bakassi's account, the suspect is accused of stealing approximately eight mobile phones. The alleged theft took place after the individual was permitted to join a group of friends engaged in a football match in Ikoyi.
