Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents in Miami have shared images of vehicles and potential suspects connected to the incident where rapper Offset was shot.
The Migos artist was reportedly accosted by a large group of individuals who sought to rob him outside a casino in Florida. During the confrontation, one of the assailants allegedly produced a firearm and fired a single shot, hitting Offset in the leg. The assailants then attempted to steal the victim's watch, but were unsuccessful.
Following the incident, the rapper received treatment at a hospital for a few days. He has since resumed his public performances, appearing at a music festival at the University of Arkansas on Saturday.
The FBI stated that the sho0ting occurred around 7:24 p.m. on April 6. At that time, a substantial number of individuals reportedly assaulted a single victim outside the casino premises.
After the shooting, the suspects reportedly escaped the scene in two Chevrolet SUVs: a matte gray Chevrolet Tahoe and a black Chevrolet Suburban. According to investigators, the black Suburban is believed to have headed towards Hollywood, Florida, while the Tahoe was seen travelling south towards Miami.
Law enforcement agencies have released the images of the vehicles and the alleged suspects as part of an ongoing investigation. The FBI is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in identifying and apprehending those involved.
