Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has cautioned that the ongoing war will have far-reaching global consequences, impacting everyone worldwide.

Speaking on Wednesday, March 18, he asserted that all people, regardless of their race, religion, or financial status, would be affected by the conflict.

Araghchi made these comments in a bid to encourage western officials to resist the war further.

He stated on the platform X, "A wave of global consequences has only begun, and it will touch all – regardless of wealth, religion, or race."

His message included a copy of a resignation letter from Joe Kent, the director of the US National Counterterrorism Center, who resigned on Tuesday, March 17.

In the resignation letter, Kent conveyed that he could not support the ongoing military actions in Iran, stating that "Iran does not represent an imminent threat to our nation."

Araghchi pointed out a “growing number of voices – including those from European and US officials” that have labeled the conflict against Iran as unjust.

He concluded his post by urging more members of the international community to take similar actions.
