Further appointments include Muhammad Yahaya as legal adviser, Farida Kamba as women leader, and Sunusi Oscar as youth leader, among other positions.

The congress was attended by members of the Kano State Transition Committee and national officials from the ADC headquarters in Abuja, who oversaw the proceedings and vetted the candidates.

Notable attendees also included Mr Kwankwaso, the ADC's governorship candidate for Kano in 2023, Ibrahim Khalil, and party chieftain Al’amin Little.

Mr Hassan further disclosed that Mr Kwankwaso has accepted a 60% share of the ADC's party structure. This represents a smaller portion than the 80% initially offered by the party's leadership.

He characterized the arrangement as equitable and noted that it was designed to enable greater involvement from members within the opposition coalition.
