Penta and Je'Von Evans have emerged as the new World Tag Team Champions following an assist from Oba Femi at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday in Saudi Arabia. It marks Evans' first championship in WWE.
The title change came after Femi defeated The Vision's Bron Breakker and Austin Theory at the event. Theory and Evans opened the match with a fast- paced contest, but all four competitors soon became involved in the action.
The babyfaces sent the champions to the outside and followed with double dives. Back in the ring, Penta hit Theory with a backstabber and Evans connected with a frog splash. Femi's music then hit, and he went face-to-face with Reed. The two brawled on the stage, where Femi sent Reed crashing through a table set up below.
Penta took Breakker down from the top rope and delivered a Mexican Destroyer, then Evans landed the OG Cutter and pinned Theory for the win.
