Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries, has asserted that anyone who incurs his wrath through provocation will face lifelong failure, throwing a challenge at his critics to examine the lives of individuals he has previously cursed. The outspoken clergyman made this declaration during a recent religious service, highlighting his spiritual authority to invoke divine judgment against his adversaries.
Elaborating on his capacity to fight back spiritually, the televangelist maintained that his pronouncements carry absolute finality. “Anyone who wants to trouble me, when I curse you, you are finish. Check all the social media, all the people I have cursed whether anyone is existing,” Ibiyeomie stated to his congregation.
What did the cleric say about political officeholders?
Expanding on his spiritual influence, the Port Harcourt-based preacher claimed that his prayers could dismantle the careers of high-ranking government officials who cross his path. “I know what to pray that the person will be useless for life, even those that are in political powers, when I pray against them that’s the end,” he added.
Such provocative declarations by prominent Nigerian religious leaders often elicit mixed reactions from the public and civil society regarding the intersection of faith, influence, and public discourse.
