Ray J has made shocking allegations against Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, accusing them of dishonesty concerning their involvement in the notorious tape that captured global scrutiny.
In statements reported by TMZ, Ray J accused Kim and Kris of having 'completely lied about everything' in their recent legal statements that deny any involvement in the release of the tape. He asserted that he personally attended a meeting alongside Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and executives from Vivid Entertainment, the firm that distributed the tape, to negotiate a deal regarding the footage.
He claimed that both he and Kardashian were compensated with $400,000 each for three videos that were filmed—two in Cabo and another in Santa Barbara.
Additionally, Ray J alleged that Kris Jenner attempted to make the Santa Barbara recording appear 'dirtier,' which directly contradicts the longstanding assertions made by the Kardashians of having no influence in the tape's release.
Ray J expressed that the ongoing situation has had a detrimental impact on his reputation, voicing worry over how the situation could affect his children. He mentioned that he now has a son and daughter and does not want them to grow up believing he maliciously harmed someone or disseminated explicit content.
This disagreement occurs within the context of a protracted legal dispute between the involved parties. In October, Kardashian and Jenner initiated a lawsuit against Ray J for defamation, to which Ray J responded with a countersuit, claiming they breached a settlement agreement that barred any discussion of the tape in public.
Moreover, Ray J has garnered public support from his mother, Sonja Norwood, who took to social media to defend him and questioned who would be accountable for the tape's release if Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner were not involved.
