Russian General Victim of Multiple Gunshots in Alleged Assassination

A suspected assailant shot a high-ranking Russian general multiple times outside his residence in Moscow, according to reports from officials.

Lt Gen Vladimir Alekseyev was reportedly walking through the stairwell of his apartment complex located on Volokolamsk Highway when the attack occurred.

The attacker had been waiting for Alekseyev to exit his home situated on the 24th floor at approximately 7 a.m. on Friday, February 6.
