In a congratulatory message issued on Monday in Makurdi, Austin Tyowua, the Principal Media Officer, highlighted Ikya's birthday and acknowledged his role in repositioning the club.

"Under his guidance, each department of the club has found its stride, operating with clarity and coordination, much like a finely tuned team executing a flawless strategy," he noted.

"With Ikya at the helm and the crucial support of Benue State Governor, Dr. Hyacinth Alia, Lobi Stars has successfully returned to Makurdi after an extended period of playing away from home."

He further explained that the chairman ensured the McCarthy Stadium met the necessary standards for league matches, thus enabling the club to play on their home ground again.

"The three matches held at the home ground resulted in three victories, a perfect record that elevated the team from fifth place to a strong second position, narrowly trailing the league leaders by a mere three points."

"Your leadership is characterized by calm authority, sound decision-making, and purposeful direction, all of which continue to drive the club's advancement," Tyowua added.

He concluded by offering prayers for greater achievements, robust health, and sustained success for Ikya in his role as the club's former Team Manager.
