Renowned musician Alanis Morissette has disclosed that she is pansexual during a recent podcast interview. The artist made the revelation while discussing her past experiences and personal identity.

Canadian-American musician Alanis Morissette has officially declared herself pansexual during a recent guest appearance on the Handsome podcast, shedding light on her personal identity and romantic inclinations.

During the episode broadcast on November 3, Morissette faced a direct inquiry regarding whether historical distress caused by men had influenced an inclination toward identifying as a lesbian. Responding to the query, the Grammy-winning artist stated, "I’m pansexual, so, yeah."

Program co-host Tig Notaro sought immediate clarification, pressing the guest by asking, "Wait, you’re not really pansexual, are you?" Firmly standing by her statement, Morissette reiterated, "I am." Pansexuality is generally defined as an attraction to individuals regardless of their biological sex or gender identity.

What else has the singer recently shared?

This personal disclosure follows another candid conversation earlier in the autumn. During a September appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper, the mother of three opened up about her struggles with severe postpartum depression.

Morissette explained to Cooper that her depressive symptoms escalated progressively following each of her three pregnancies, describing the accompanying intrusive thoughts as deeply harrowing.

The musician continues to maintain a public platform where she addresses both personal milestones and mental health awareness, drawing widespread attention from fans and media outlets globally.
