A woman has voiced her outrage at her sister's husband following the unfortunate news of her sister's death.

Ebelechukwu Onwudiwe, hailing from Umuru village in Ogidi, has recently passed away, and her remains are now in the mortuary.

Angela, her sister, took to social media to assert that her sister's spouse had barred her from visiting family or maintaining any form of communication with them.

Additionally, Angela alleged that her sister's husband prevented her from pursuing employment opportunities despite her being a university graduate.

She claimed that her sister had confided in them about enduring abuse within her marriage.

Angela further explained that the husband of the deceased did not inform the family of her illness until he called them to announce her death, stating that her body had been taken to the morgue.

The grieving sibling demanded answers and urged her sister’s spirit not to find peace until justice is served.

In a heartfelt post accompanied by a photo of the deceased, Angela expressed her sentiments:

"Obinna Igbojiuba from Abacha, where is my sister Ebelechukwu Onwudiwe of Umuru village Ogidi? You have finally achieved your wish and ended 'Nwa-ada Ogidi'!"

Angela accused Obinna of pretending to be a decent person to marry her sister, while masking his true intentions.

"You did not notify our family when my sister Ebele was unwell, not even reaching out to her brother, a well-known pharmacist, or to me, despite living in Onitsha," she continued.

"You informed me on March 23, 2026, that my sister had died after 15 years without any visits to your in-laws and no correspondence at all because you had declared that she should not see her parents and siblings, actively pushing them away to fulfill your sinister agenda!"

She lamented how he deprived her sister of opportunities after graduating in microbiology and brewery from UNIZIK, stating he dismissed all job prospects their family presented to her and enforced restrictions on her ability to work.

"My sister recounted numerous instances of mistreatment, including beatings, verbal abuse, and neglect of her and her only child. You forbade her from attending any form of prayer. You stored her body in the morgue without notifying our family, and none of her relatives had the chance to see her before you took that action," she charged.

Angela concluded, "You think you can maintain my family in grief, but just wait! Eby nwanne m, nwaada Ogidi, don't rest until you make Obinna accountable for his vile actions. I cautioned you and attempted to help you escape that situation, but you chose to endure suffering until your death."
