3SC recorded the biggest win of Nigeria Premier Football League Week 11, beating Abia Warriors 4-1 at Ibadan’s Lekan Salami Stadium, while other fixtures saw Bendel Insurance overturn Kwara United, Kano Pillars defeat Nasarawa United and Rivers United draw with Enugu Rangers.

On Sunday, 3SC, popularly called the “Oluyole Warriors”, secured the most decisive result of Nigeria Premier Football League Week 11 by overwhelming Abia Warriors 4‑1 at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan. Forward Sodiq Ibrahim was the star, netting a first‑half brace that stretched the lead.

Damilola Akinola opened the scoring in the 15th minute, giving the home side an early advantage. Ibrahim then doubled the tally in the 41st minute and added a second before the break, completing his brace in first‑half stoppage time. Although Abia Warriors pulled one back in the 80th minute, Issa Yusuf sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the 88th minute.

What were the other notable Week 11 outcomes?

In Ilorin, Bendel Insurance produced a dramatic 2‑1 comeback against Kwara United. Host Stephen Gideon scored first, but Oke Kayode (52') and Chinedu Nwosu (55') turned the match around for the “Afonja Warriors”.

At the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano Pillars comfortably defeated high‑flying Nasarawa United 2‑0, with goals from former junior international Ibrahim Yahaya and Fabian Nworie.

The weekend’s marquee clash between league leaders Rivers United and defending champions Enugu Rangers ended level at 1‑1 in Port Harcourt. Chijioke Mbaoma gave the “Pride of Rivers” the lead in the 17th minute, but Godwin Obaje, later sent off, equalised for the “Flying Antelopes” in the 54th minute.

In Aba, after a run of poor results, Enyimba returned to winning ways with a narrow 1‑0 triumph over Kun Khalifat. Meanwhile, Luis Dadong’s first‑half brace helped Katsina United edge out in‑form Sporting Lagos 2‑1 in Katsina.

Plateau United fought back to share points with Warri Wolves, finishing 1‑1, while the Week 11 encounter between Inter Lagos and Ranchers Bees also concluded in a 1‑1 stalemate at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena in Lagos.

These results leave the league table tightly contested, with several clubs positioning themselves for the second half of the season.
