Tinubu Appoints New CEOs and Board Members for SHESTCO and NEMSA

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Magaji Aliyu as the managing director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex, while also designating Adesayo Michael as CEO of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency. Additionally, he nominated two commissioners for the RMAFC.

President Bola Tinubu has made significant appointments, naming Magaji Aliyu as the new managing director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), located in Abuja.

SHESTCO is tasked with leading research and development in technology, alongside managing a nuclear research facility.

Furthermore, the President has appointed Adesayo Michael, an accomplished engineer, as the chief executive officer of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA).

Other recent appointments to the NEMSA Board include Aliyu Abdulazeez, who will serve as Executive Director, Technical, and Ikechi Clara Nwosu, who has been appointed as Chairman for the South-east region. The board also includes members such as Zubair Abdur’rauf Idris from the North-central region, Igba Elizabeth representing North-east, Sani Alhaji Shehu for North-west, Adeyemi Adetunji for the South-west, Engr Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe from the South-south, and Engr. Charles Ogbonna Asogwa representing the South-east.

In addition to these appointments, President Tinubu has proposed the nominations of Amina Gamawa, representing Bauchi, and Abdullahi Muktar, representing Kaduna, as commissioners for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). The names have been forwarded to the Senate for confirmation.
