Esther Okereke, a Nigerian businesswoman, has made a public statement on Instagram claiming that her husband, Justice Okereke Ezechimere from Imo State, is plotting to kill her to take possession of her home and other properties.
The Instagram user highlighted that she has faced abuse from her husband and his relatives since their marriage eight years ago. She recently returned from a business trip in Vietnam, only to discover that her husband allegedly took her important documents and vacated their shared residence.
Feeling overwhelmed, Esther declared that she no longer wishes to remain married and is seeking a divorce, but she fears for her life, suggesting that her husband may resort to lethal means against her. She urged that he be held accountable if any harm comes her way.
A video recording accompanied her post, illustrating her distressing situation, and she has demanded immediate attention to her plight.
