Eligibility Criteria for the 2026 Newcastle University MBA Scholarships

hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for admission in 2026 to the Full-time MBA programme

have substantive managerial experience of 3 years or more

hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honours degree

applicants who do not meet this requirement but can demonstrate relevant work experience above the minimum plus significant career progression may also be considered

completed the scholarship application form including submitting an essay of no more than 1,500 words in response to the question listed. Submissions need to be in English.

have worked or currently work in a sector which is moving to more sustainable business models e.g. energy, packaging.

The MBA Scholarships offered by Newcastle University include;

MBA Responsible Impact Scholarship: The Scholarship provides a full fee award of £33,250 payable towards the cost of tuition fees

MBA Advancing Women in Leadership Scholarship: The Scholarship provides a full fee award of £33,250, payable towards the cost of tuition fees

MBA Sustainable Leadership Scholarship: The Scholarship provides a full fee award of £33,250, payable towards the cost of tuition fees.

MBA Developing Talent and Leadership Scholarship: The Scholarship provides a full fee award of £33,250, payable towards the cost of tuition fees.

Application Guidelines

Apply and receive an offer for an MBA program at Newcastle

You will then complete an online application form including an essay.

Applications and essays will be reviewed by the School’s MBA Scholarship Committee.

Links to the application form will be sent to all eligible offer holders via email.
