A graduate of Mass Communication and actor, Michael Nnanke Obeten, tragically passed away in Ugep, Cross River State, when a malfunctioning cannon struck him during a Good Friday drama rehearsal. The incident occurred at station 12 of the Passion of Christ play, where the prop meant to simulate thunder struck Obeten in the head.
