Nigerian siblings Arie and Chuko Esiri have taken their latest feature, Clarissa, to the Cannes Film Festival’s Directors’ Fortnight. The drama, starring Sophie Okonedo and David Oyelowo, re‑imagines Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway in contemporary Lagos and will hit selected cinemas on 11 December 2026.
