Nigerian Army University Lecturer Passes Away While Held Captive by Boko Haram Nearly a Year After Abduction
Professor Abubakar Mohammed El-Jummah of the Nigerian Army University Biu has died while in captivity of Boko Haram, almost a year after his abduction on March 2, 2025. His family confirmed his death on February 11, 2026, stating he succumbed to the effects of his ordeal.
