Veteran musician Innocent Idibia, widely recognized as 2Baba, has stated that one of the most significant misconceptions surrounding him is that he is a ‘womaniser’.

During an interview with Voice of Nigeria, shared on Wednesday, February 10, he spoke candidly about various aspects of his life, including love, fame, parenting, family dynamics, and the impact of public scrutiny on his personal life.

‘The biggest misconception about me is that I’m a womaniser. I like women; I’m just straightforward. But I’m a lover boy. I love hard,’ he expressed.

In his reflections on fatherhood, 2Baba disclosed that balancing his music career with raising his children has been one of his greatest challenges.

Although he feels blessed to be the father of eight children, he expressed sorrow over the limited time he has been able to spend with them. Nonetheless, he considers his kids to be a continuous source of joy and pride.

‘I have eight kids now. I feel blessed and happy, but the sadness comes from the fact that I haven’t gotten to spend the type of time I should have spent with them collectively. It does something to me sometimes.

They’re amazing, brilliant people. I just wish I was there more. It touches me from all corners,’ he remarked.
