Representing the governor, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Ganiyu Hamzat, remarked that the kindness, prayers, and generosity shown during Ramadan should not cease but should be upheld as ongoing acts of worship.

In addition, former Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK, Ambassador Sarafa Ishola, encouraged all Nigerians to uphold the values imbibed during the holy month and prayed for Nigeria's peace and prosperity, expressing optimism for the nation’s future.
Leading the prayers, Sheikh Saad Bamigbola, the chief Imam of Egbaland, called on individuals from all faiths to maintain sincerity and dedication to their beliefs.
On social media, Governor Sanwo-Olu encouraged Muslims to hold onto the spirit of kindness after Ramadan, stating, “Today is a day to celebrate the strength we draw from our shared values and community. Let's carry that spirit of kindness with us as we resume our daily activities.” He wished everyone peace, health, and blessings in the coming days.
