Actress Victoria Inyama Declares Female Circumcision as a Positive Experience

Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama has shared her perspective on female circumcision, asserting that the procedure she underwent as a child was highly beneficial.

During an Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, Inyama explained that she received the circumcision while living with her grandmother. She believes this practice has contributed to her maintaining a healthy life.

When questioned about whether she had been circumcised, the actress responded affirmatively. "Yes I was because I grew up in the village with my grandmother. That is the best thing they did for me. I swear to God because if I say I am not going to have s3x, I will not and that is the power I have as a woman."

Inyama further elaborated that the circumcision helps prevent her from engaging in promiscuous behaviour.

She recalled the procedure taking place when she was approximately five or six years old, mentioning that the intensity of the pain caused her to pass out.

Regarding whether she would permit her own daughter to undergo the same procedure, Inyama stated that such a decision rests solely with the father of the child, not her.
