Adams delivered a remarkable performance in the quarter-final match against Algeria, where his stellar goal contributed significantly to Nigeria's 2–0 victory.
His goal was celebrated for its accuracy, composure, and technical skill, and it was instrumental in securing the Super Eagles a third-place finish in the tournament.
