Alex Iwobi, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, was reportedly the victim of a violent robbery at his home in London, with the assailants making off with valuables totaling around £500,000.
As detailed by Daily Sports, the incident involved the attackers holding Iwobi at knifepoint during the intrusion.
The intruders allegedly rummaged through the house, stealing various high- value items including luxury wristwatches, jewelry, two iPhones, a MacBook, and around £200,000 in cash.
In response to the incident, local authorities have initiated an investigation to apprehend the culprits.
Iwobi recently participated in a match for Fulham, where the team triumphed over Burnley with a score of 3-1 in the Premier League.
