American Rapper DDG Shares His Unique Dating Principle

DDG, an American rapper and streamer, is making headlines after discussing a personal principle he adheres to when it comes to spending on women.

As reported by Complex, the artist emphasizes that he will not buy gifts for any woman he dates unless he has already purchased a comparable or better gift for his mother.

He believes that failing to do so simply “feels wrong.”

DDG mentioned that there is a common misconception that he’s a significant spender on women, yet he maintains clearly defined limits.

For instance, before he bought a watch for a girlfriend, he had already given one to his mother. This same reasoning applies to more substantial gifts like cars, which he has bought for her on multiple occasions.

Moreover, he shared that while he is open to investing in extravagant dates, he does not support paying for a woman's rent or buying a house directly for a partner. The only exception he considers is if they are cohabitating in a shared home.

Previously, DDG was in a relationship with singer and actress Halle Bailey, with whom he has a young son.
