Anthony Joshua is committed to his recovery, receiving focused treatment on his ribs several months post a serious car crash he experienced in Nigeria.
The heavyweight boxer, aged 36, was in a tragic accident on December 29, shortly after his victory against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Miami.
Though Joshua emerged from the incident, it resulted in the loss of two individuals close to him — his childhood friend and trainer Kevin "Latz" Ayodele, along with his long-time therapist Sina Ghami.
In the aftermath of the crash, the former champion has been diligently working on his rehabilitation. He has recently shared on Snapchat snapshots depicting what seems to be his painful rib therapy sessions that are part of his recovery plan.
He expressed on social media, "Rehabilitation protocol. When you go through certain things, you realize that you are stronger than you think you are."
Ayodele, known commonly as "Latz," had been an integral part of Joshua's team for many years, while Ghami significantly contributed to managing the boxer’s physical fitness throughout his career.
Joshua remains dedicated to regaining his strength as he strives towards full recovery following this traumatic experience.
