Senator Barau I Jibrin, who serves as the Deputy President of the Senate, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday. He offered prayers for God to bestow health and longevity upon the President, emphasizing Tinubu's commitment to transforming Nigeria into a prosperous nation.
President Tinubu, born on March 29, 1952, will celebrate his birthday on Sunday, March 29.
In a statement released by his media aide, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau expressed his belief that Nigerians will express overwhelming support for President Tinubu in the presidential elections set for January 16, 2027, to ensure the continuation of his reform agenda and infrastructural projects aimed at enhancing national progress.
“Happy 74th birthday to His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. As a visionary leader, he has dedicated the past 34 months to repositioning our nation for the betterment of both current and future generations,” Barau stated.
He confidently declared, “By the grace of God, Nigerians will vote in large numbers for President Tinubu on January 16, 2027, when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) holds the presidential election.”
Barau also predicted that as Tinubu reaches his 75th birthday next year, he would be celebrated as the President-Elect for his second term, correlating his election victory with his birthday festivities.
He encouraged all Nigerians to keep the nation in their prayers and extend their support to President Tinubu, highlighting that the President is genuinely invested in the welfare of the country.
As the First Deputy Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Senator Barau reaffirmed the backing of the National Assembly for President Tinubu, stating, “We stand alongside the President in addressing our nation's challenges for the benefit of our people.”
