Enibo Albert, a farmer in Bayelsa State, has expressed her anguish after her farmland was reportedly invaded by herders and their cattle, resulting in the total destruction of her crops.

This is not the first occurrence for Albert, who recounted that after a previous incident, her complaints made on social media were dismissed as mere 'shouting'.

Despite her previous outcry, no actions were taken to address her concerns, leading to another invasion where her crops were devastated once again.

Documenting the extensive harm done to her farm, Albert stated:

"The damage caused by these herders is worse than anything I've witnessed before. They've completely ruined everything I've worked hard for.

"I am at a loss for words on how to proceed, but I need you to understand that everything I own has been destroyed.

"Farming is my sole source of income, and I have no alternative means of support... They came back and annihilated everything again.

"I am without a job, left with nothing. The government has failed to safeguard my means of survival, and it has let down countless farmers in Yenagoa."
