Boye Mafe, a linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, marked an extraordinary occasion at Super Bowl LX by celebrating his team's championship win while proudly displaying the Nigerian flag.
The Seahawks achieved a 29-13 victory against the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium, which represents their second Super Bowl title in the history of the franchise.
During the celebrations, Mafe, whose parents immigrated from Nigeria, joined several teammates in hoisting the green-white-green flag, signifying their heritage and shared cultural pride.
Alongside Mafe, his fellow Nigerian teammates, Uchenna Nwosu and Nick Emmanwori, also made history during this significant event.
