Actor Chuck Norris has been admitted to a hospital in Hawaii after experiencing a medical emergency, according to various reports from sources close to the situation.
The 86-year-old martial artist and actor was hospitalized on Kauai Island within the last 24 hours, although details regarding the specific nature of the emergency have not been disclosed. Nevertheless, sources indicate that Norris remains optimistic and in good spirits.
The event appears to have occurred unexpectedly, as it was reported that Norris had been training on the island just a day prior and had a cheerful conversation with a friend during a phone call.
This incident follows shortly after Norris celebrated his 86th birthday on March 10, where he shared a video on social media of himself engaged in sparring with a trainer.
In his post, he expressed, “I don’t age. I level up. I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I’m thankful for another year, good health, and the opportunity to continue doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support over the years has meant more to me than you could possibly know.”
Norris, who was born Carlos Ray Norris, is widely recognized for his remarkable career in martial arts and film, including his iconic role as Cordell Walker in the classic television series Walker, Texas Ranger. He also starred with Bruce Lee in the 1972 film The Way of the Dragon.
As of now, there has been no official comment from his representatives concerning his health condition.
