President Donald Trump made light of Barack Obama in a speech delivered in Kentucky, poking fun at the former president's manner of walking down the stairs, which he described as 'unpresidential.'
In his address to Republican supporters, Trump criticized Obama's way of descending while also presenting it as a form of admiration. He elaborated that he appreciated how Obama 'bobbed' down the stairs. Although he described the action as 'unpresidential', he acknowledged that Obama managed to avoid falling during his descent, unlike Joe Biden, whom he noted had stumbled multiple times on his way up the stairs.
Trump remarked, 'The only thing I admired about Barack Hussein Obama, which was nothing actually. But the only thing is the way he was bob down the stairs.'
He continued, 'You talk about unpresidential, his bob… and I couldn’t believe that he made it without at least a noticeable major fall.'
In contrast, he mentioned Biden’s difficulties, stating, 'But Biden was the opposite. Biden couldn’t even walk up the stairs. He fell three times walking up the stairs.'
