Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson for the anti-corruption agency, confirmed her apprehension during a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday evening.

He stated that the arrest was triggered by a viral video in which Inuwa was evidently seen cleaning mucus from her nose with Naira notes.

"In light of the widely circulated video, the Commission moved swiftly to investigate and subsequently apprehend her for questioning," he noted.

"Currently, she is being held at the Commission's detention facility as the inquiry continues," the spokesperson informed the press.

Oyewale also mentioned that the actress would face charges in court once the investigation has concluded.
