Mr. Samuel Alozie, a resident of Lagos, has made a plea for the investigation into the deaths of his nine-month-old twins, Testimony and Timothy. The infants reportedly passed away less than 24 hours after getting routine immunizations at a government health center in Lagos.

According to Mr. Alozie, the twins were taken for their scheduled vaccinations at the Ajangbadi Primary Health Centre in Ojo Local Government Area on December 24, 2025, and were in good health and spirits before the visit.

He explained that shortly after the vaccinations, the twins became abnormally weak, refused to eat, and seemed to be in distress. The attending nurse advised the parents to administer paracetamol and cooling baths, indicating that the reactions were normal following vaccinations.

However, Mr. Alozie noted that the condition of his children worsened overnight. Tragically, both boys died in the early hours of December 25, less than a day after the immunization.

The father has voiced concerns regarding the vaccines given to his sons, suggesting potential negligence, incorrect dosages, or the use of expired medications. He also expressed dissatisfaction over having not been consulted or adequately informed prior to the administration of de-worming medication.

Moreover, Mr. Alozie claimed that the health center staff proposed that the twins' deaths could be attributed to contaminated food, a suggestion he firmly disputes, maintaining that the children had been feeding well and displayed no signs of illness before their hospital visit.

He has called upon the Lagos State Ministry of Health and other relevant organizations to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into the situation and ensure accountability where necessary. Additionally, he is seeking legal and human rights assistance, as he lacks the financial means to pursue justice independently.

As of the time of this report, no official statement has been released by the Lagos State health authorities regarding this incident.
