Gemma Atkinson, a well-known media personality from the UK, has recently shared that she was once 'offered a significant amount of money' to make disparaging comments about Cristiano Ronaldo after their brief relationship came to an end in 2007.
During an interview with Key 103 Radio, Atkinson explained, "When we broke up, I was offered a lot of money to speak badly about him. I didn’t want it because I had nothing negative to say about him, so I see no reason to speak ill of him," as reported by Transfer News Live.
The actress and the footballer generated media buzz when they were seen together nearly two decades ago while he played for Manchester United. However, their romance ended in October 2007.
Currently, Atkinson is married to Gorka Marquez, with whom she shares two children: a six-year-old daughter named Mia and a three-year-old son named Thiago.
On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo is engaged to Georgina Rodríguez. Together, they have two daughters, Alana and Bella, and welcomed twins Eva Maria and Mateo through surrogacy.
Tragically, Bella had a twin brother named Angel, who passed away shortly after birth. Additionally, Ronaldo has an older son, Cristiano Jr., from a previous relationship.
Ronaldo and Georgina first met in 2016 when she caught his eye while working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in Madrid.
