He stated, "This milestone signifies not just the beginning of construction activities but also a clear expression of our government's dedication to education, which is crucial for sustainable development."

Governor Sani pointed out that since he took office on May 29, 2023, his administration has prioritized education in its development strategy, underscoring its role as a vital tool for social advancement and long-lasting stability.

"This landmark represents more than just physical progress. It embodies our unwavering determination to broaden access to quality education and ensures that every child in Kaduna State has the chance to learn, grow, and fulfill their potential," he remarked.

Furthermore, he noted the successful reduction of the number of out-of-school children in Kaduna from approximately 550,000 to 187,720 within two years. He assured his commitment to bringing the figure down to zero in the coming year.

The governor also described the significant investments made in educational infrastructure to meet the increasing demand for quality schooling. He mentioned the establishment of 62 new secondary schools across the three senatorial districts and the ongoing construction of an additional 50.

In addition, hundreds of classrooms have been either built or updated, and over 81,000 units of furniture have been supplied, significantly enhancing the learning environment in public schools. Improvements have also been made to water and sanitation facilities, along with the creation of vocational training centers aimed at fostering skill-based education among youth.

Sani concluded by praising the collaboration with international development partners, including the Islamic Development Bank, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, and Save the Children International, which all contribute to expanding educational opportunities in the state. He expressed that the presence of community leaders and organizations at the event signifies a collective commitment to advancing education in Kaduna State, reiterating, "We are determined to establish an education system that ensures no child is neglected."
