Kano State's Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has given the green light for the early disbursement of March salaries to civil servants. This measure is intended to assist employees in preparing for the upcoming Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
Hajia Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Acting Head of Service, remarked, "This directive allows workers to adequately prepare for the Eid el-Fitr (Sallah) festivities in a comfortable and respectful manner."
She elaborated that this early salary payment demonstrates the administration's dedication to the well-being of civil servants and acknowledges their hard work and contributions to the state's progress.
Maimota urged civil servants to use this benefit wisely while maintaining their commitment, discipline, and efficiency in their roles, which is essential for enhancing service delivery across the state.
Additionally, she reiterated that the government remains resolute in pursuing policies that foster workers' welfare and boost productivity within the civil service.
