Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has officially dissolved the State Executive Council.
A release from the Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijani, revealed that this action is intended to create a supportive environment for council members who aspire to run for elective positions in the upcoming general elections.
Governor Zulum has instructed all commissioners to transfer their responsibilities to the Permanent Secretaries by Friday, April 3, 2026.
He took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to the departing commissioners for their dedication, commitment, and significant contributions towards the development and service of the populace in Borno State.
